Curled up in furs

and tassels of paws

in a circle of tail 

hiding her claws

 

One eye is open

the other is closed

Whiskers shine silver

small coral nose

 

One eye gleams golden

The other is closed

Purring in feminine

feline repose...

 

A little tiger burning bright

in a shaft of morning light.
